Hello everyone,

I’m publishing notes via “Publish notebook” on Joplin Cloud and have run into a display problem on mobile devices that I couldn’t find reported anywhere in the forum:

What works: When opening the published notes in a desktop browser (Linux and Windows), everything is displayed as expected. Long notes can be scrolled down and read completely.

What doesn’t work: On Android, scrolling down does not work at all on the published pages. Only the top part of a long note is visible, and the rest cannot be reached. I tested this with three different browsers:

  • Firefox for Android 156.0
  • Vivaldi for Android 8.2.4147.93
  • Samsung Internet 30.0.0.67

All three show the same behaviour, which suggests it’s an issue with the published page itself (perhaps a CSS/layout issue with the mobile viewport) rather than a specific browser.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Publish a notebook with a long note (longer than one screen) via “Publish notebook” on Joplin Cloud.
  2. Open the shared link on a desktop browser → scrolling works.
  3. Open the same link on an Android device in Firefox / Vivaldi / Samsung Internet → the page does not scroll; only the top of the note is visible.

Device info:

  • Android version: 16
  • Device: Samsung Galaxy S23
  • Affected browsers: Firefox [156.0], Vivaldi [8.2.4147.93], Samsung Internet [30.0.0.67]
  • Works correctly on: Linux (Firefox 156.0 (64-Bit)) and Windows (Vivaldi 8.2.4133.68 (Offizieller Build) (64-Bit)  / Firefox  )

Has anyone else experienced this, or is this a known issue? Since it affects three independent browsers, I suspect a problem with how the published page is rendered on mobile viewports.
